I can't say enough about this place! The coaches here are incredibly talented and supportive, creating an environment that feels welcoming and safe for actors at all levels. They really know how to bring out the best in each student and offer constructive feedback that pushes you to grow. Highly recommend for anyone looking to build their skills and confidence!

If you are serious about your acting career, this is the place to be at! You’ll be surrounded by professionals who are eager to help you learn and share their techniques and their wisdom. Acting is so much about life experience and honesty, acting career is also about connections - and school’s founder Christopher is the best person to learn from in all of these aspects! I cannot recommend their program enough. The competition is high but it’s worth it.

Act First Studios is training some of the brightest young film/tv and theatre actors at the moment. I have cast three of their actors in two of my current films and always love coming to do masterclasses at the studios!

Act First Studios was one of the first studios I went to in NYC and lets just say, there's a reason why I trust them. From the start, you are welcomed into this energetic and uplifting atmosphere. You are pushed to be better but also in a safe environment to do so and grow. The classes are small which is fantastic if you really want your acting coach to coach you. Not only do we go over several techniques to improve ourselves as an actor, but they coach us on auditions, cold reads, demo reels, resumes, and host occasional master classes. Please sign up if you are wanting to improve your acting. They have helped with my confidence as an actor and have taught me more than I ever had with my past acting coach I had for 2+ years in the span of four months! Thank you Christopher and Lauren!

Spending time at Act First make up the best hours of my week. You get the chance to work with so many talented coaches, who truly care about how you’re performing and who you are as a person. I only started acting at the end of last year, and I can see myself and my peers gaining so much confidence we didn’t have in the beginning of our first semester. When you’re at this studio, you’re welcomed into a whole new family.
